Review of Maxxair RV Vents and Fans - Roof Vent - MA00-03812W- Video
Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the MaxxFan Dome Roof Vent. This is going to have a 12 volt fan and a six inch diameter, and basically, this is just going to be a nice little exhaust fan for your bathroom or shower in your RV. It can be mounted in the roof or in a side wall, so you can either have it vertically or horizontally mounted, and it's just an easy opening vent. To open that up, you just have this little push button on the handle, push up on that, and it opens up our vent to the outside, so we can exhaust the air. Now the fan can't be reversed as far as pulling air in, it's just going to allow air to escape, so it is an exhaust only fan.There's two wires to connect to run that fan, and it comes with an extension, if our walls are thicker than an inch, so we'll have about a six inch extension here to get everything sealed up. more

This is going to be a four inch diameter vent and basically it's going to replace a lot of the vents on your current RV, whether you've had one that's been damaged or broken, you're changing up the color, whatever the situation is, it's going to make for a really good replacement. So we've got a removable cover here and this is the basic heart of the vent. This is what we're going to install into our wall. This is going to replace one worn out or damaged heat vent and it is going to allow you to control the air flow of the vent.It's got a rotating face on it that will allow you to decide which direction you want the air to flow through, how you want it to blow. When the name says undampered, if you're not familiar, there are other options that have kind of like an interlocking blade system that would allow you to control how much air is being pushed into the room, so you could turn that completely off and no air would flow through, or you can make those fan blades overlap and then it will allow a lot of air to flow through. This does not have that feature so you are going to be getting the full amount of air pressure flowing through, but with this rotating face you can direct that air to different parts of the room.I do want to give you a few measurements here. more

It has a nice aerodynamic design, which will streamline the RV's appearance. And it is wind tested up to 190 miles per hour.You can see when this is installed, your cover has the snaps on it, and you just line it up with the three on top, push it down, and then just pull out on each corner and it'll snap into place and you have a nice streamlined cover on there. more

Now this is going to replace a bent or damaged register in your RV or really anywhere you'd want it. Maybe you want to upgrade to a metal register. This is going to be made of a durable steel construction with that brown powder coat so we shouldn't have to worry about it getting rusty or anything like that over time. It is undampered so we'll be able to have our air flow into it so it makes a good cold air return since air will just be able to drop down in and recirculate it in our system.Now as far as the top side dimensions it's going to be about 11.5 inches long by about 5.5 inches wide. Our cut out on the bottom of what it'll actually fit is 10 inches going from the furthest point on either side by 4 inches. more

It does have a damper so we can close off our air when we want to or open it all the way up to let the air flow through. Today we can take a look at the JR Products, black mushroom vent. Now this mushroom style plumbing vent will replace an older damage event. It is a low-profile to reduce risk of any damage in areas that has low clearance, and it can be used for any ventilation application. It's very lightweight, durable, plastic construction, nice black color, and it uses a secure screw on cap to prevent loss and see if we unscrew this pops right off at, and there's your vent. Now you do need to remove the cap prior to installation and face the vent properly to prevent any leakage you can see right here where it's in Boston says front. You do want to make sure if this area points to the front, it does come with the stainless steel hardware to install it. more

Review of Ventline RV Roof Vent - Low-Profile Round Fan - VP-543SP- Video
Today, we'll be taking a look at the Ventline VanAir Trailer Roof Vent. This is going to give you a nice, small, low-profile vent option for your enclosed trailer and those places where you don't really want to have a larger opening for a bigger fan or you just need something small with a nice, low-power draw, like this.It requires a 6 1/4-inch rough opening to get this installed. If I flip it over, we can take a look at how it's going to operate. We'll have this little handle portion here. That's what's actually going to raise up the cover, so when it's installed, you'll push that up, and that'll raise the vent up as well. It's a little harder to do with it not actually installed. more

Review of Valterra RV Vents and Fans - A/C and Heat Registers - A10-3337VP- Video
Today, we're going to take a look at the Valterra Heating and A/C Vent Register. This is going to be a round vent with a rotating design in brown.Now this is going to replace or upgrade your existing cover in your RV, so it's going to allow that heat or cooling to come out and you can direct it with that louvered vent. It does rotate around, 360 degrees, so you can get that adjusted wherever you want it to be.This is going to fit a four inch vent hole and it's going to be pretty easy to replace this. There's just going to be two spots on the top of the vent that we'll use the included screws to secure down. Now, this is going to be an easy way to replace or upgrade your existing cover in your RV. It does have that rotating louvre there so you could adjust it to wherever you need it to be. It also comes with two small screws to mount it in place and those are also white to be a little bit more discreet and blend in with wherever you choose to mount it.This is going to fit a four-inch vent hole. Now, this is a white powder-coated steel cap that'll keep water out of your refrigerator roof vent on your RV or motor home.
